Springtime is a time for joy, for celebration. The days are becoming longer, the winter chill is gone, and it's time for us, and for the animals and plants of the world to step out into the sun.
 

But none of that can happen without the winter work that has prepared us and set us on the path for our Beltane awakening; all during the dark times, seeds have slumbered beneath the soil, creatures have hunkered down in their winter torpor...and we, we who live and breathe magic...we have been doing the work during the long dark of winter to ready ourselves to burst forth when the time was right.
 

As the caterpillar prepares to change, it forms a chrysalis around itself, a shelter so that it can be held safe while it remakes what it was into what it will become. Over the winter, we have done much the same, taking what we learned as we walked the paths in autumn into our yearly shadow work, protected by our own chrysalis of power.
 

The time of hibernation, of personal transformation, of remaking who you were and becoming who you will be...all of that work, which took place since the mystic fires of autumn dimmed, is at an end.
 

Now the work begins: break out of your chrysalis, show the world how you have transformed, and then be who you are boldly and without hesitation.
